Vineyards – the Cradle of Wine
The vineyard is the birthplace of outstanding wine. The optimal supply
of vine nutrients and organic matter in the soil is the prerequisite
for premium quality grapes.
We are proponents of high vine density and
have up to 7000 vines per hectare to ensure vine stress reduction and
low yields.
We harvest our grapes manually in small 20 kg crates. We sort our grapes
immediately in the vineyard. Grapes not meeting our demands for the production
of high-quality wines are not even brought back to our winery. This system
has proved to be effective over the years and thanks to an experienced
harvesting team, we are able to work exclusively with healthy, physiologically
ripe grapes.
