Red White Pannobile Tasting Notes

Pannobile was founded in 1994 and is a winegrowers` association of currently 9 wineries with the aim to produce wines which reflect the characteristics of the region.
A Pannobile wine mirrors the used local varieties, the soils and the special micro climate of the best sites between Neusiedl am See and Halbthurn. The grape varieties Zweigelt, Blaufränkisch and St. Laurent are permitted for Pannobile red, White Burgundy, Chardonnay, Pinot gris and Neuburger for Pannobile white.

The wines are suitable for bottle ageing of many years. The Pannobile stands for the top-cuvée of a member winery made of local varieties originating from top-sites.

Critics and motivation in the course of regularly organized common blind tastings provide for the optimal composition of the wines of the individual winegrowers and thus a new Pannobile vintage.

A Pannobile vintage is developed in the course of regular blind tastings and represents the optimal composition of wines of the individual winegrowers.
